About the Author
| Martins Fatola is the president and founding pastor of the Cutting Edge Word Ministries International (a.k.a Word Center Church), Canada, with the divine mandate of raising people of purpose, impact and character. After his miraculous conversion from Islam in the mid-80s by the Lord, he had his early ministry grooming at the Lord Reigneth Ministries (TLR), Nigeria. In 1991, at the leading of the Lord, he started a Campus Fellowship-Prayer House during his university days which the Lord has used to raise up some leaders and Pastors today. He has a burning passion to impact his generation by equipping and releasing men and women into their purpose in life, so that they may in turn impact their world. In that same year, he had an encounter with the Lord in a vision during 3 days of fasting and prayer where the Lord called him to take the gospel to the nations of the world.
In January 2000, during another encounter with the Lord, God said to him, “I open unto you doors into the nations of the world-and that is for the sake of My Kingdom.” A man with deep prophetic insight and an international motivational speaker, he travels the nations of the world in Africa, Europe and North America preaching the life-changing WORD of God with signs and wonders following the preaching of the WORD. The central theme of his message is to see God’s people experience the WORD and extend it to their generation. He is also the Publisher and Chief Editor of the Cutting Edge Word Magazine-a Christian magazine which is in circulation freely in over 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and the Caribbean. He, along with his wife (Pastor Derin) are the authors of the books – “Dream Big – You are Created for More” and “Marriage without Stress.” Martins was also a guest on Christian Radio – FAITH FM 94.3
Pastor Martins holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) from University of Ibadan, Nigeria, Master of Science degree (M.Sc.) from Free University of Brussels, Belgium and Postgraduate Certificate in Financial Planning with various certifications in financial services. He was also a financial consultant for leading financial institutions in Canada. He’s happily married to his wife – Pastor Derin and they are the proud parents of two children, Fola David and Farah Sharon-Rose. He lives in Canada with his family. He loves the Lord and his family passionately. |
